September 2023 Babes, Booze & Business Recap: Fun, Fitness, and Community Impact

September was an exciting month for Babes, Booze & Business, filled with connection, learning, and community impact across all of our branches!

In West Volusia, we gathered at Hammer & Stain for a night full of creativity and wellness. The highlight? A charcuterie board competition that had everyone showing off their culinary and design skills—because networking is always better with a little friendly competition! 🍇🧀 We also had the pleasure of learning from the amazing Dr. Casey Attenberg, a chiropractor who taught us simple exercises we can incorporate into our daily routines to support spine health—perfect for all the hard work we do, both personally and professionally.

September also marked our first-ever meetup at Buster’s, where we were inspired by Carol Brown, an insurance agent specializing in Medicare. Carol shared her knowledge with the group, helping attendees better understand options for themselves, their families, and clients.

Giving back was a big focus this month as well. Babes, Booze & Business participated in the Daytona Beach Kiwanis Duck Race, helping to raise money for local kids while enjoying a day of fun and community. 🦆💛

Our East Volusia branch in Ormond-by-the-Sea also had a milestone moment! We met at Beach+Vine and had the highest turnout ever for this branch. It was a perfect evening filled with networking, laughter, and connection—a beautiful reminder of the power of growing and nurturing our community.

September was a month that blended fun, learning, and giving back, proving once again that Babes, Booze & Business is more than just a networking group. It’s a community where women support one another, celebrate successes, and create impact. As we move into fall, we’re excited to continue building connections, inspiring growth, and having fun together! 💃✨
