October 2023 Babes, Booze & Business Recap: Costumes, Creativity, and Community Spirit

October was one for the books at Babes, Booze & Business! From fun-filled costume meetups to our legendary Babes, Booze & Bad Decisions Night, this month was packed with laughs, connection, and incredible community energy.

Our Babes, Booze & Bad Decisions Night was a huge success, with male allies joining us for a hilarious Dad Bod review. The event had everyone laughing, enjoying, and connecting—and we even raised an amazing amount of money! It’s proof that networking doesn’t have to be all business—it can be fun, memorable, and impactful all at once. 🍷😂

October also brought spooky fun with costume-themed meetups across all three branches. In Port Orange, we gathered at Nancy Strickland’s office, where Gina Hargrave of Tu Es Bella inspired attendees as our speaker. West Volusia celebrated at The Blind Pig, with costumes, drinks, and a lively night of networking and connection.

On a personal note, October was especially meaningful because my mom came into town, and I got the joy of showing her the incredible community I’ve been able to build. Seeing the energy, support, and genuine connection among these women made me so proud of what we’ve created. 💖
