Our Babes, Booze & Business meetup in Ormond Beach on October 24, 2022 was an unforgettable evening filled with inspiration, fun, and a touch of magic! Held at the vibrant Monarca's Mexican Restaurant, this event had it all: great food, wonderful company, and an exciting challenge that brought out the creativity and boldness in everyone.

A Spooky Twist: Halloween Dress-Up Challenge

In true Halloween spirit, we asked our attendees to dress as their most inspiring lady — and let’s just say, the costumes did not disappoint! About 12 amazing women came in full costume, each representing a powerful woman who has made an impact on them. From iconic historical figures to fictional heroines, the creativity was off the charts. The highlight of the night? Colleen Dunway stole the show with her incredible female astronaut costume and was crowned our Best Costume Winner! Her attention to detail and inspiring representation of a trailblazing woman truly captured the essence of the event.

It was inspiring to see the ladies fully embrace the challenge, showcasing their own personal heroes and breaking free from the usual business attire. It was a reminder that inspiration can come from anywhere, and sometimes, the most creative moments are the ones where we let ourselves have a little fun.

Showcase Speaker: Sam Rollins – Tarot Reader Extraordinaire

Our special guest for the evening, Sam Rollins, brought her unique energy and insight as a dedicated tarot card reader. Sam captivated the room with her knowledge of tarot and how it can be a tool for self-discovery, empowerment, and understanding. She explained how tarot cards are not just for predicting the future but can be an incredible guide to better understanding yourself, your goals, and the challenges that lie ahead.

After her fascinating talk, Sam offered free tarot readings to those who were interested, and it was amazing to see how many women took part in the experience. Some were first-time readers, while others had dabbled in tarot before, but all were eager to explore the cards' messages. It was great to witness ladies breaking barriers, stepping out of their comfort zones, and being open to new experiences — truly embodying the spirit of Babes, Booze & Business.
