A Successful Fall Festival and New Smyrna Meetup – Women Supporting Women!
September was an incredibly busy and eventful month for our community of women in business, and we couldn't be more excited to share the highlights of two fantastic events that took place this month: the Fall Festival on September 10th and our New Smyrna Meetup on September 12th.
Fall Festival Recap: A Vibrant Market of Support and Local Talent
The Fall Festival held on September 10th, 2022, was nothing short of a resounding success! Over 40 women in business came together to create a vibrant market that was filled with local talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. The festival offered a fantastic mix of products and services, ranging from handmade crafts to wellness offerings, all carefully curated by women who are passionate about their businesses and ready to share their gifts with the community.
The turnout from the community was incredible, with eager shoppers showing up to support the women who made the festival possible. The weather was beautiful, the energy was high, and the support for local businesses was palpable. It was a true celebration of what happens when women come together to lift each other up, support one another, and share their talents with the world.
Despite the amazing success of the event, we were saddened to learn that this Fall Festival will be the last market for the Spring Garden Market. While we weren’t able to keep the market running longer, it was a powerful reminder of the support women entrepreneurs have in our community, and how much we can achieve when we come together.
Thank You to Our Fall Festival Vendors and Attendees!
A huge thank you to all the vendors, volunteers, and attendees who helped make the Fall Festival such a success. Your participation made this event a true celebration of women in business. Whether you were showcasing your business, shopping for unique products, or just enjoying the community spirit, you made the festival unforgettable.
A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Sponsors!
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our generous sponsors who made our Fall Festival and New Smyrna Meetup possible: Hilary Deininger with Keller Williams, Books by Ginger, Sit Means Sit Dog Training, Stay for a Day and Senders Retreat, and Comparion Insurance Agency. Your support helps us continue to create opportunities for women in business to connect, grow, and thrive. We are truly grateful for your commitment to empowering women and supporting local communities. Thank you for being such an integral part of our events and for helping us bring these incredible experiences to life!
New Smyrna Meetup Recap: A Community of Support and Empowerment
Just two days after the Fall Festival, we gathered for our New Smyrna Meetup on September 12th. While we had planned to meet at a local venue, we had to make a last-minute change to AAA Offices in Daytona Beach, thanks to the gracious support of Jen Canada. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to host our meetup, and we're so grateful to Jen for stepping up to ensure the event continued smoothly.
This meetup was especially exciting as it was our first dry event—but let me tell you, the lack of alcohol didn’t dampen the energy at all! The room was filled with amazing women eager to learn, connect, and support one another.
Showcase Speakers: Empowerment Through Photography and Giving Back
Our meetup kicked off with a brief talk from Jen Canada about her work with AAA. It was inspiring to hear her insights into her career and her personal journey, and it set the tone for an evening of connection and learning.
The highlight of the night was our showcase speaker, Samantha Tribble, an empowering Boudoir Photographer and co-owner of Lunar Studio. Samantha shared how her work helps women feel comfortable and empowered in their own skin, and how boudoir photography is not just about the images, but about the transformative experience it provides. As Samantha spoke, it was clear that her mission is to help women feel sexy, confident, and empowered, making her photography experience truly life-changing.
In addition to her work as a photographer, Samantha is also deeply involved in her role as Co-Manager of the Good For Girls Initiative Nonprofit. This incredible initiative provides feminine hygiene packs for young girls experiencing period poverty. Samantha’s dedication to helping women, both through her photography and her nonprofit work, is a testament to her commitment to giving back to the community in meaningful ways.
Reflecting on a Month of Growth and Connection
September was a month of growth, community, and empowerment. Between the incredible success of the Fall Festival and the New Smyrna Meetup, it’s clear that our network of women in business is stronger than ever. We continue to see women come together, support each other, and share their expertise, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come in the future.
We want to thank everyone who attended, supported, and made these events possible. Whether you were a vendor, a guest, a speaker, or a volunteer, your contributions played a vital role in the success of these events, and we couldn’t do it without you.
Looking Ahead: Stay Tuned for More Events!
As always, we are looking forward to continuing to build and grow our community of supportive women. There are many more exciting events and opportunities ahead, and we can’t wait to keep the momentum going. Stay tuned for upcoming events, and be sure to follow us on social media for the latest updates.
