March 2023 Babes, Booze & Business Recap: Growth, Safety, and Celebrating Women

March brought a wave of growth for Babes, Booze & Business! Our Facebook group welcomed an influx of new members, which was exciting but also came with some challenges.

With growth came the need for new safety procedures—we’ve been exposed to scammers and individuals not aligned with our mission. To keep our community safe and supportive, we implemented a questionnaire for access to the private group and had to block members who didn’t fit our values.

While these steps were necessary, they have allowed us to show up more authentically than ever and foster a strong, fun, and empowered community. Our space remains a safe place for women to connect, grow their businesses, and support one another with honesty and enthusiasm.

March was also a month of celebration, as we honored International Women’s Day and took time to acknowledge the incredible women who inspire and uplift us every day. 🌸

We also found a new consistent location for Lake Mary meetups at Cork & Olive, providing a beautiful and welcoming space for our women to gather, network, and enjoy each other’s company.

This month has been a testament to the strength, resilience, and authenticity of our community. Despite new challenges, our commitment to connection, growth, and fun continues to shine brighter than ever. Here’s to more amazing meetups and celebrations in the months ahead!
