June 2023 Babes, Booze & Business Recap: Record Turnouts, Big Wins, and Strong Connections

June has been nothing short of electrifying for Babes, Booze & Business! This month reminded us that growth isn’t always smooth sailing—but when it works, it’s absolutely worth celebrating.

We kicked off the month with our Community Kid Fest events in Daytona and Orange City. The turnout was impressive, and it was amazing to see families and community members come together to enjoy the fun. That said, we’ve had some honest reflections as a team: while these events are heartwarming and community-driven, they are a ton of work for the payoff we get. Moving forward, we’re carefully evaluating whether kid-focused events are the right fit for our group’s goals—but we’re proud we tried it, and the memories made will not be forgotten. 🎉

Back to what we do best—connecting, learning, and celebrating women in business. June gave us three of the strongest meetups on record, and the numbers and energy speak for themselves. Our DeLand meetup at City Taproom was nothing short of historic—it was our largest turnout ever! Women filled the space with laughter, conversations, and connections that will last far beyond the evening. It was a vivid reminder of why we love what we do: empowering women to grow their businesses and build meaningful friendships in a fun, supportive environment.

In Lake Mary, Cork & Olive continues to shine as a consistent, beautiful space for our gatherings. The venue has become a home base where women can relax, connect, and network in style. Meanwhile, Ormond Beach is thriving at Wine Not West, giving our group a lively, vibrant atmosphere perfect for conversations, laughs, and building the bonds that make our community so strong. 🌸

This month has been a true mix of record-breaking events, fun nights out, and honest reflections about the work we do. We’ve seen firsthand that while some events may be a challenge to manage, the core of Babes, Booze & Business remains strong, authentic, and unstoppable. Our members continue to show up for one another, bringing energy, ideas, and laughter to every meetup.

As we look ahead, we’re more committed than ever to creating spaces where women can thrive—whether it’s connecting over drinks, learning from speakers, celebrating wins, or simply enjoying a night out in great company. June has set the bar high, and we can’t wait to see how our community continues to grow, evolve, and shine in the months to come. 💃✨
