July 2023 Babes, Booze & Business Recap: Rebranding, Inspiration, and Community Growth

July was a monumental month for Babes, Booze & Business! This month marked a major milestone as we officially rebranded our meetups to better reflect the communities we serve. What used to be DeLand, Lake Mary, Ormond, and New Smyrna Beach are now proudly known as Seminole County, West Volusia, and East Volusia branches. This rebrand has already helped us streamline events, strengthen connections, and clarify our mission for new and returning members alike.

Our meetups this month were packed with inspiration and learning. In one session, the incredible Moriah Snow, seasoned actress, acting coach, and teacher, spoke about the importance of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)—sharing how structure and clarity can create freedom and growth in both business and personal life.

We also had the pleasure of hearing from Analisa Volva, who enlightened us on the importance of permaculture and why planting native plants is vital for a healthy ecosystem. Her insights reminded us that sustainable practices in our communities can have a long-lasting positive impact on the world around us. 🌱

July wasn’t just about speakers—our founder, Marcia Oliver, had the honor of being interviewed on Deanna Hinz’s podcast, sharing the growth, journey, and vision of Babes, Booze & Business. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase how far our group has come and the powerful network of women supporting one another every month.

We were also inspired by Krystal Sperry from Elite Concierge, who shared how she built her business from nothing into a thriving enterprise using nothing but connections and her dedication. Her story reinforced the power of networking, persistence, and community support—everything Babes, Booze & Business is about.

In addition to all of this, we expanded into Orlando with our first-ever meetup in the city, welcoming 25 amazing ladies! The energy, excitement, and connections made at that inaugural event were unforgettable, and it was incredible to see our community growing beyond our existing branches.

And it doesn’t stop there—we’ve officially launched a virtual book club, meeting weekly to grow our emotional intelligence and personal development. This new initiative is a perfect way to continue learning, connecting, and supporting one another outside of our monthly meetups.

July was a month of milestones, learning, and expansion, proving once again that Babes, Booze & Business is more than just networking—it’s a community that empowers women to grow professionally, personally, and emotionally. We’re excited to keep the momentum going and can’t wait to see what August has in store! 💃✨
