January 2023 DeLand Meet-Up Recap: Cheers to New Beginnings

If there’s one thing our West Volusia babes know how to do, it’s show up bold, brilliant, and ready to build — and our very first meet-up of 2023 at Venue 142 was the perfect way to kick off the year!

We traded our usual garden gatherings for the historic charm of downtown DeLand, and trust me, it did not disappoint. With 100 women strong (yes, really!), snacks in hand, and glasses clinking, we launched into the new year with connection, community, and confidence.

The Venue Vibes

Venue 142 gave us the perfect backdrop — modern, airy, and right in the heart of downtown.We had plenty of room to mingle, laugh, and make those sweet “you’re my new biz bestie” connections that this group is famous for.Of course, the night wouldn’t have been complete without the fantastic bartending from Constance, the bar manager at Venue 142, who kept our glasses full and spirits even fuller. Cheers to that!

It was inspiring to see one of our own stepping confidently into her new role and showing us all that pivoting and growing in business is what it’s all about.

Snacks & Sips — Thanks to Alexandra Walker

And you know we can’t forget the food!Our very own Alexandra Walker spoiled us with delicious snacks that kept the energy high and the conversation flowing.When you’ve got snacks, drinks, and a room full of boss babes? That’s what we call a recipe for success.

The Takeaway

Our first meet-up of the year had all the ingredients we love — empowering speakers, business growth, friendship, and a sprinkle of fun.We left Venue 142 with new contacts, fresh inspiration, and our hearts full knowing that 2023 is going to be our year.
