Our Ormond Beach babes showed up with big hearts and even bigger purpose for our first gathering of 2023 — and wow, what a night it was.
We took over the cozy patio at Monarca’s Mexican Restaurant, filling the space with the sound of laughter, conversation, and connection (and maybe a few chips crunching, let’s be honest). But while the margaritas and tacos were flowing, we also came together for a serious and powerful conversation that left every one of us stronger and more aware.
An Eye-Opening Conversation with Earl “Huck” Mallory
We had the honor of welcoming Earl Mallory, or as we all lovingly call him — Huck — to speak truth into the room about something that affects more women and families than many realize: sex trafficking.
Huck, the President of Bikers Against Sex Trafficking, didn’t sugarcoat it. He laid out the hard facts — that Florida ranks as the #2 state in America for sex trafficking cases. He shared what signs to look for, how we can protect ourselves and our loved ones, and most importantly, how we as women can be part of the solution by being vigilant, staying informed, and supporting survivors.
It wasn’t always easy to hear — but it was so necessary. And that’s exactly what makes this community of women so amazing: we don’t shy away from the tough stuff when we know it can make a difference.
Feminine Hygiene Drive — Wrapped Up Strong
We also wrapped up our feminine hygiene product drive, and can I just say? You ladies showed up BIG.With all of our donations combined, we were able to provide essential supplies that directly support survivors in our local area — helping to restore dignity, comfort, and hope.
It’s easy to think that small gestures don’t matter — but this night reminded us that together, our impact is huge. We created real change, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished as a community.
A Night to Remember
Good food, great friends, important knowledge, and powerful action — that’s exactly what went down on that patio. We left inspired, informed, and connected, ready to carry this momentum into everything we do — in business, in life, and in our community.
Thank you to Huck for your powerful message, to Monarca’s for the beautiful space, and to every single woman who donated, attended, and opened her heart.
Let’s keep making a difference, together.
