Inaugural Lake Mary Meetup: A Beautiful Evening at Mood Lash + Beauty

On July 28th, we kicked off our first-ever meetup in Lake Mary at the stunning Mood Lash + Beauty—and what a fantastic evening it was! From the moment we walked into the chic, stylish salon, it was clear this would be a special night filled with inspiration, connection, and empowerment. The event ran from 6-8 PM, and we were thrilled with the wonderful turnout of local women in business who joined us to share, learn, and network together.

The Perfect Venue: Mood Lash + Beauty

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue to host our inaugural event. Mood Lash + Beauty is a chic, contemporary salon that set the tone for a sophisticated and welcoming evening. The beautiful decor and calming atmosphere made it the ideal space for our group of women entrepreneurs to gather, connect, and enjoy the evening together.

Our Showcase Sponsor, Maria Lora, truly inspired us with her story. Maria is a local seamstress and mother of three who shared her journey of balancing family life while running her own business. Her passion for her craft shone through as she talked about how she helps clients create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that fit their unique style.

Maria’s story resonated with many in the room, especially fellow moms and entrepreneurs who understand the challenges of juggling family and business. She shared valuable insights about the importance of persistence, creativity, and self-care while running a small business—and how staying true to your passion can lead to long-term success. We are grateful to Maria for sharing her expertise and inspiring us all!

A Great Turnout & Growing the Lake Mary Branch

We were absolutely thrilled with the turnout at this inaugural event! It was amazing to meet so many new faces, and the energy in the room was incredibly positive and motivating. The evening was filled with valuable conversations, new connections, and a sense of community that we’re eager to continue building.

This is just the beginning for our Lake Mary branch, and we’re excited to keep growing in this area. We can’t wait to meet more amazing women, entrepreneurs, and business owners in the area, and we’re looking forward to hosting many more events here in the future!
