DeLand August 2022 Meetup: A Record-Breaking Event at Chica's Cuban Cafe

Our August 2022 meetup in DeLand was an absolute game-changer! We gathered at Chica's Cuban Cafe for what turned out to be our largest event to date, with over 70 attendees joining us throughout the night for a fun-filled, fast-paced evening of networking, inspiration, and celebration.

It was an unforgettable night that truly set a new bar for our events, and we couldn't be more excited to share the details with you!

A Vibrant Venue: Chica's Cuban Cafe

We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host such a large gathering. Chica's Cuban Cafe provided the perfect atmosphere for our event, with its lively energy and welcoming vibe. The food, of course, was absolutely incredible! Ileana and her amazing team prepared a delicious spread that had everyone raving—authentic Cuban flavors that made the evening even more memorable. From savory appetizers to flavorful entrees, the food was a major hit, fueling the energy of the night. It’s clear that Chica's is the place to be for both great food and great company! 🍽️✨

Networking Frenzy: Record-Breaking Attendance!

With over 70 women in attendance, the energy in the room was palpable! As we kicked off the event, we dove into an open networking session where everyone had the chance to connect, introduce their businesses, and share their stories. While the excitement was a bit overwhelming at times (a little noise was to be expected with such a large crowd!), the enthusiasm and positive vibes were contagious.

The room was filled with inspiring entrepreneurs, business owners, and creatives who were all eager to collaborate, support, and empower one another. It was a true celebration of women in business, and the power of connection was undeniable. 🌟

A Fun Surprise: Jewelry Bath Bomb Presentation by Hannah Watkins

One of the biggest highlights of the evening was the entertaining surprise presentation by Hannah Watkins, who wowed the crowd with her jewelry bath bomb experience! It was a fun, interactive way to showcase her business, and the audience was absolutely captivated by the concept. As everyone gathered around, Hannah demonstrated how her bath bombs  provided relaxation as you watched the mystery revealed as hidden treasures—beautiful jewelry were hidden inside each one ranging from $30-$500!

It was a creative and engaging presentation that had everyone talking long after the event. Hannah’s unique approach to business and her ability to entertain while educating made this a truly memorable moment for all of us. 💎🛁

This meetup was a record-breaker in so many ways. Not only was it the largest turnout we’ve had to date, but it was also a shining example of what happens when women come together to support one another. The night was filled with energy, inspiration, and a shared commitment to building each other up.
