Recap of Babes, Booze & Business: 6th Meetup & 80's Party at The Rupp Group!

Our 6th Babes, Booze & Business meetup was one for the books! We celebrated six months of success and had a blast at our 80’s-themed party—and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the neon colors and side ponytails to incredible showcase speakers and delicious treats, this event was a perfect blend of fun, community, and business!

We were thrilled to meet at The Rupp Group's offices in West DeLand, where the amazing community-driven realty broker team opened their doors to our group. The energy was high, the conversation flowed easily, and we were all decked out in our best 1980s attire, making it a night to remember.

A Night of Neon and Nostalgia: 80's Theme Party

First off, we went all out with the 80’s theme! From neon leggings and scrunchies to big hair and power suits, everyone embraced the vibe, and the party atmosphere was electric.

The 80’s theme not only set the tone for the event but also served as a fun icebreaker, helping everyone feel more connected and ready to learn. The night was filled with high-energy conversations, and the creativity of our outfits was only rivaled by the creativity in our businesses!

This local, community-driven realty broker team in West DeLand is all about making connections and supporting their community—and we could feel that energy in every corner of their stunning office. We’re so grateful for their support and for providing us with such a wonderful space to gather and connect! We hope that even though our table collapsed and we broke one of their vases that we will be welcomed back one day!

The Rupp Group is not only dedicated to helping people find their dream homes, but they also believe in giving back to the community. They were the perfect hosts for a meetup like ours, where supporting and empowering women entrepreneurs is at the forefront.

Showcase Spotlight: Jenny Ostrowski & Epicure

Our first Showcase Spotlight of the evening was the amazing Jenny Ostrowski, a banking professional with a side passion for a company called Epicure. Jenny shared how Epicure provides all-natural, allergen-free meal solutions that allow busy people to create healthy, delicious meals in just 20 minutes.

As many of us know, time is a precious commodity, and Epicure makes it easier to eat healthy without the stress of meal planning or long preparation times. Jenny not only introduced us to the products but also demonstrated how these easy-to-use meal kits can change the way we think about cooking for our families, ourselves, or even clients.

It was a perfect fit for busy entrepreneurs who are always juggling multiple responsibilities but still want to prioritize health and wellness. We left feeling inspired to try some of the recipes and add Epicure to our busy lives!

Showcase Spotlight: Marie Jimenez & Backyard Gatherings Mobile Bartending

Next up, we were treated to a presentation by Marie Jimenez, the owner of Backyard Gatherings Mobile Bartending. Marie brings the party to you by offering mobile bartending services for all kinds of events—whether it’s a wedding, corporate gathering, or even a small private party.

Marie shook things up by crafting some themed drinks just for our group, which was a fun way to experience firsthand what she brings to the table. From tropical concoctions to bubbly mixers, her drinks were both tasty and creative.

Marie also shared how she can take the stress out of hosting and elevate any event by handling the bar services, allowing her clients to enjoy their celebrations without worrying about logistics. Whether you’re planning a backyard BBQ or an upscale wedding, Marie’s personalized touch ensures that your guests are well-served and your event runs smoothly.

It was inspiring to see how Marie has turned her passion for bartending into a successful business and how she tailors each experience to meet her clients' needs.

Tasty Treats from Epicure

Jenny Ostrowski made sure we were all well-fed with Epicure’s tasty delights. From quick and healthy snacks to more elaborate meal options, we had the chance to sample some of Epicure’s best offerings—and let us tell you, everything was delicious!

Epicure’s focus on all-natural ingredients and quick preparation times makes it an ideal solution for anyone looking to eat healthy without the stress. We were all treated to a sampling of these scrumptious meals, which sparked some great conversations about how we could incorporate Epicure’s products into our own busy schedules.

A Night of Networking, Empowerment & Fun

As always, Babes, Booze & Business is all about connecting and supporting one another, and our 6th meetup was no exception. We were able to make new connections, share stories, and support each other’s businesses—all while celebrating six months of growth and success.

The atmosphere was filled with energy, laughter, and empowerment, and we can’t wait to see what the next six months have in store for our group. From practicing our elevator pitches to chatting about everything from business strategies to work-life balance, the evening was a perfect blend of fun and professional growth.
